Funny, way I remember it, Crockett died fighting a hopeless battle against a numerically superior foe. Not exactly the ideal situation that most of these numbnuts would want to face.

People always forget what actually happened at the Alamo. They seem to think that it was an overwhelming victory against tyranny or some shit.

Everyone there died. Santa Anna stomped them mercilessly, leaving only handful of non-combatants to tell what had gone on. It changed the tide of Texas independence, sure, but at the cost of everyone who fought there.
