Sorry about the OT but I’ve just run across some quotes from Ben Franklin and am reminded of what wise men our founders were….

“Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote!”

“Without freedom of thought there can be no such thing as wisdom; and no such thing as public liberty without freedom of speech.”

Be nice if our academicians were conversant with that second quote……
