The fact that he had a book tour planned, which he promptly cancelled after his unexpected rise to 1st in the polls, leads me to believe it was a celebrity/Fox thing. Well, that and the fact that he hasn’t developed a real multi-state campaign infrastructure.
But at times I believe he is really in it to win, so who knows.

Twelve months is a long time.
