Just got back from doing the early voting thing and casting my ballot for Tom Barrett. Hopefully he’ll win but damn, the GOP machine is spending money like, well, I’d say drunken sailors but I’ve known them and these guys make the sailors look fiscally responsible.

OTOH, the line was out the city clerk’s office door and halfway to the street even with three people handing out ballots.

On the Gripping Hand, this is Madison which is as deep a blue place as exists in the nation and how that compares to the rest of the state remains to be seen.
