Glad you asked. It seems pretty clear:
1.) Democrats by and large don’t talk about the Russia scandal, as documented by the Corn & Tomasky articles I referenced. If you disagree, take it up with them — or with Charles for posting the Corn article.
2.) Idiots and partisan hacks claim that Democrats are focusing on the Russia scandal anyway.

I’m of the opinion that Democrats should stop doing what isn’t working, a.) because it isn’t working, and b.) because it enables non-idiot commentators like Jon Stewart to say, with some justification, that Democrats “don’t give a f*ck about Russia”, which in turn empowers the aforementioned idiots and partisan hacks.

And just to show there is an alternative way for things to work, do a Google search for “idea of America is at risk.” You’ll see a number of references to Adam Schiff’s statement “The very idea of America is at risk,” and no one calling it “Trump derangement syndrome” or what have you.
