In the context of this news, it’s interesting that unedited versions of the Wikileaks cables turned up on Russian websites first.

I wonder if this Israel Shamir is in fact an FSB agent. The Russians have long history of trying to insert agents to influence groups in the West that can be used to Russia’s advantage.
