I grew up around and still remain around many fervent anti-abortion people. It’s definitely not true that all want to roll back Griswold’s right to privacy/contraceptive access, and anecdotally I don’t even think it’s most. Maybe if you forced them to think through all the legal ramifications of Griswold and Roe, etc, they would agree, but it’s not the motivating factor.

Granted, this is coming from a protestant point of view, things are obviously very different on the Catholic side of the tracks.

it may not be true that they all personally want to do that, but their leaders do, the evangelical-pandering GOP politicians they vote for, the evangelical movers and shakers, absolutely want to demonize contraception and family planning
