Meanwhile, GOP math reveals budget problems in Kansas, home of Sam Brownback. The Gov., pushing tax hikes to fix the huge budget hole he created when he gave away the farm to businesses a few years back - the economy cratered, jobs didn’t get created, and revenues dried up.

So, what’s the problem? Guess what taxes he’s increasing - not fixing the tax problem he created, but will fill the hole with an income tax hike on those making the least and tobacco and liquor taxes.

Instead of fixing the problem, it’s a burden shift to those least able to afford them. He’s making it more expensive for Kansas residents to drown their sorrows as the budget implodes, schools get shafted and infrastructure crumbles while businesses run amok without paying their tax obligations (because they’ve figured out how to game the system so they don’t have to pay tax).
