I honestly do believe the compromat theory now. I think Lindsay is and always has been an opportunist but he did a very quick about face on Trump.

It might not even be kompromat in the Russian sense. Since Lindsay Graham ran against him in the primaries, Trump’s campaign or his business might have dug up something that would tank Sen. Graham’s career or send him to jail if it was exposed.

As I recall, Senator Graham himself reported hacking against his own campaign to the Federalis.
