I find it interesting that, in the case of Indiana, the biggest arguments are between republicans. The Atty General (R) doesn’t like the law, IIRC the gov (R) didn’t like it either, and my state rep (D) proudly voted for it. I say “proudly” because he sent me a nice big glossy mailer telling me so.

Alabama pols are in favor or being very quiet about their qualms. Here’s yesterday’s Christian Science Monitor on our law.
