There is, but some of my older relatives come slightly unhinged over the mention of their predecessors because they want to believe they’re simon-pure white all the way back to Adam. My granddad tossed his sister out of his house when she informed him that one of his great-grandfathers was black.

That supposedly is the origin of the term Melungeon, to conceal a mixed-race background.
