Hybrids have their place, mostly in city driving - you see a lot of people dumping their hybrid cars here because they don’t “perform up to the hype” because they’re not being used in their proper role. But in a situation where you’re needing to get by with a lot of short-term city driving until a gas shortage eases up, they’d be perfect.
