Another problem with the piracy is that there’s a black legal hole as to what to do them after they’re captured. Both Russians and the Norwegians (or was that Swedes? I forgot.) just let the pirates go (in various ways, with Russians leaving less of a chance for survival since an inflatable boat without a compass etc. is a probable death, but still). Because apparently they couldn’t have been prosecuted.
