Any moron of average intelligence can get a JD and pass the bar. You do have to put some time in, but the level of difficulty is a myth that lawyers are more than happy to propagate. I passed the bar on my first shot 20 years after law school and I was woefully unprepared.

The LSAT to get into law school is effectively an intelligence test. The state bar exams aren’t —— they test knowledge of state level legal procedures. Oddly enough, those procedures aren’t taught in law school, so separate bar review courses are usually needed.
