Putting all your money into an obvious grift is terrible when you don’t realize how obvious the grift was until you lose everything. I can see how that could lead to a complete loss of self-confidence and suicide.

It hurts me to see this, as much as it hurts me to see forums full of broken people who have fallen for phone scams, email scams, and other such tomfoolery. I truly feel bad for the victims, and I wish there was a better system to educate people who are not regularly in a school setting about things such as scams, since they are evolving every day.
