CCJ refuses to accept the legitimacy of a duly appointed court officer and prosecutor. He refuses to accept the legitimacy of a properly authorized subpoena for his appearance.

He must think that refusing to appear and “standing up to the man” will enhance his stature among right wing smear merchants. Arrests will only improve his street cred. Or so he must think.

And no one on the right is calling him out on this BS. None.

Of course not. In their fantasy world, the whole case against him is a smear job being perpetrated by the Mississippi GOP to hide the truth, that he’s being treated like a criminal for reporting the “truth.”
