Well, we’ve blown past the Rose Bowl today and now Sanford Stadium in Athens, Ga (93, 246) is the new death stadium for tomorrow.

Next up, Texas Memorial Stadium at 95,594. So, Thursday.

Nearly 3,000 Americans died in a single day and it’s left a cultural scar that still hasn’t gone away almost 20 years later.

Hell, over 60,000 died over nearly a decade in Vietnam and we still struggle today to grapple with the senseless lost of life.

But we’re fast approaching 100,000 dead before the end of the 3 months mark and the public’s response is basically “ho-hum.”
