As much as they hated Gitmo it was an interesting experiment in transparency which unfortunately didn’t work. The Koskidz are outraged now but after Gitmo closes they won’t complain much because detainees won’t have lawyers or the IRC to spread stories in the press. Terror suspects will be sent into dark dungeons in horrible countries and we will never hear from them again. Out of sight, out of mind.
