I’m not trying to support McInnis, because there are many reasons that I am not interested in him getting the nomination, but really, the Post would be expected to do otherwise.

And it’s a little premature, to say the least. There are still valid questions on how much he was or wasn’t involved in the plagiarized material… and that information has not been disclosed as of yet.

This is just preemptive politicking by the Post.

He put his name on it. He got paid for it. He was even contracted to write his own material. Blaming a ‘research assistant’ for something you claimed you had no help on in the first place is called lying.
