Speaking of religious nuttery. I was reading an article with my Dad during lunch about a RCC priest who denied communion to a lesbian woman at her mother’s funeral and later walked out during the woman’s eulogy for her mom and refused to go the burial. But it’s the gays who are the bullies says Rick Santorum!

Believe it or not, the priest should be reprimanded for doing that, even under the normally backwards rules of the Roman Catholic Church. The teachings of the Church actually say that, outside a specific decree from leadership to do so, no one should deny communion to someone seeking it. It is supposed to be up to the person taking it to judge whether or not they should be doing it. Between them and God, basically.
