The smart thing would have been to shut up and hope it blows over. The other GOP primary candidates are also anti-abortion, so replacing Akin with one of them won’t change anything . I hope Akin tells Romney to go to hell…all he did was state a position that the chosen vice presidential nominee agrees with.
