This gives me a chance to get on one of my soapboxes:

So what if an athlete finds some way to enhancer her/his performance? The idea of banning “substances”, if pressed to its exhaustive coverage, would also include making sure each competitor gets the same food and medical coverage. After all, is it fair that some people can afford better food than others, or can afford better medical care than others?

This idea of banning “substances” is to me just an extension of the idiotic “War on Drugs”.

I’m guessing you are not an athlete. My 18 yr old son has walk on tryouts for college baseball in two weeks. He knows he will be competing against users.
