Businesses were first to move to stop nonessential travel and to WFH. Those are part of their business continuity plans. My company did that early on, and they’ve got a worldwide presence.

They’re not going to restart before it is safe to do so, and businesses that go along with Trump on this risk losing business if people get sickened going to those businesses.

Trump’s economic collapse is all on Trump, and businesses shouldn’t be bailing out Trump. They should be demanding his resignation but wont. Because that’s not how any of them act or operate.

Even though Trump is talking about opening the economy, even though idiot GOP governors are talking about reopening the economy, my evil too big to fail employer is pushing forward with moving people home who would normally work in a call center. We’re talking thousands of people. This obviously costs money, and it blows a hole in the big push to get everyone consolidated in a relatively few sites, but it’s the smart thing to do, because we absolutely do not know how long we will be doing this.
