I always appreciate consistency. That said, I didn’t like the tea party for reasons that had nothing to do with some fringe elements were up to.

I’ve been down to the OWS here in NYC (not a special trip, was meeting a friend who lives in Battery Park City) and all I saw was a peaceful group of people with some real and well thought out arguments. No violence, no sex, no drugs (the drummers got on my nerves a bit). Nothing like what happened in Oakland. If I had any complaint about them at all it was their being naive - they truly don’t understand that the Citizens United decision is a monstrosity that allows corporations all the rights of people with none of the responsibilities.
