I’ve been spending just about my entire day recreating detailed syllabuses, lesson plans and other verbiage for education bureaucrats, who exist everywhere across the planet. They are all for courses I taught 3-4 years ago, using texts that we have since replaced. Wouldn’t be so bad if I hadn’t cleaned house last summer and tossed out all those notebooks and lesson plans I figured I didn’t need anymore. At least I kept the old textbooks and associated Word files.

I have to prepare three forms for each of four terms for two separate courses. You do the math.

I’m halfway done. They are due Monday. (It’s now Sunday here)

Shoot me now.

Meanwhile, I wanted to comment on the Kushners enticing Chinese investors with those special investment visas. As I understood it, State was supposedly reducing the number of such visas or increasing the eligible investment levels or both, because too many rich Chinese people were buying up properties and installing their kids and other relatives to mind them. That was during the wild and crazy “porous borders” days of the Obama White House. Now that we have a Grifter-in-Chief who’s all against immigration, I guess it’s now opposite day and letting rich Chinese in to buy up (Trump) properties is all hunky-dory. I guess because they’re not Mexican or Muslim.

Trouble is, I think those State Department restrictions are still in effect.
