SO ,,, why did I even bother to go home from work last night? Colossal waste of gas and sleep time

Left work at about midnight thirty
one hour and 15 minute drive home
didn’t fall asleep till about 2:30 a.m. (takes time to unwind after work and the drive)
dogs woke me at 6 a.m. asking to go out
couldn’t fall back to sleep
out of bed at 8 a.m
hit the road to come back to work at about 8:20

here ,,,, again ,,,, {sigh}
