Yeah. I think for people that live outside of Denver the city encompasses a 500 mile radius. Plus outside news outlets will report something from Vail and sign off as the local affiliate “from Denver.”

No kidding. Now, outside the city, up here, and further up and west, yes, a large snow event is common, on a weekly basis. But once again, on rare winters, like this one, certain areas have way below normal snow level. In Conifer, we normally should have seen a few 1 foot plus snow storms already… starting as early as Sept.

We’ve had under 6 inches total so far.
