Cruz et. al. do not, most definitely do not, want to accept what modern science has shown.

They are wedded to their (now outdated) worldview. Additionally, for the politician grifters the ability to manipulate ignorant people proves quite useful.

Cruz probably knows very well what the effects of GCC will be. I’d bet that, like the libertarians, he believes that guys like him will still do just fine. Besides, he’s a high stakes grifter and admitting our contribution to GCC would significantly diminish his cred among those to be shorn.
