OK. Again, i don’t want to impose controls and cut off debate. I could not stand to be a censor. But I also don’t want a nutcase (and the protester’s “FEMA camp” caption leads me to conclude that he is just that) turning the meeting into a freak show. How can we draw the ligns to accomplish both goals?

IMO, The demonstrators accomplished (so far this and more): They stirred a hornets nest, they got their voices heard, they delayed passage, they got their opinions heard, provided actual debate, maybe even actual reading of the bill before a vote will be accomplished, and maybe even some republican input will be considered. Too be continued. Oh, and all without the assistance of ‘any’ republican leadership.
