ehh…i’m one who tends to be more sanguine about a two-party system than some others. ever notice that the 3rd party always seems to be the kookiest?

Hehe well I would submit that more stable folks who might otherwise form centerist third parties are currently forced into the two party system by necessity. If forming a third party was actually viable (read: electable) then I could easily see both the Democratic and Republican parties breaking down into a few sub parties.
