Bill Maher might actually be worth watching tonight:

No, he isn’t. Here’s why:

There was a piece recently in the NYT about him, calling back to his last troubles with a conservative President.

The article is what you’d expect, talking about getting booted from ABC for not being “patriotic” enough, etc. Near the end of the article, Maher takes the reporter to the Beverly Hills Hotel, which was under a boycott from a clutch of celebs. One of the owners is a rich Saudi official who is big on Sharia.

When asked about this, Maher is essentially “Fuck these liberals celebs for not being Islamaphobic enough, I’m going to shit on their boycott by eating here.”

The man has a massive bigoted streak 10 miles wide, and he either doesn’t see it or, more likely, doesn’t care. Fucking asshole.
