In accordance with the United States Flag Code, 4 U.S. Code § 6 - Time and occasions for display, Easter Sunday is designated as a particular day on which the US Flag should be displayed.

Unless modified by Presidential or gubernatorial proclamation, Easter Sunday is a full-staff day.

Easter Sunday this year is April 1.

All persons and businesses are encouraged to fly the flag every day, but especially on days designated in the US Flag Code. The flag may be flown by private citizens at half-staff, hence the flag at my house will, as the fiftieth anniversary of the death of my father in Vietnam.
