He’s going racist because that’s the only thing the GOP base responds to anymore. Think of any topic that the media insists is important…and the GOP have wrapped it around hatred of “illegals.”

Jobs? “Illegals” are taking them.

Economy? “Illegals” are dragging down wages and taking money out of the economy to send to Mexico.

Crime? “Illegals” are killin’ and rapin’ nonstop.

Healthcare? “Illegals” are clogging up the system and driving up costs by not having insurance.

Infrastructure? “Illegals” will just take all the jobs that are created.

Hatred of brown people from foreign locales has become a one-stop shop for the GOP.
