A reminder to anyone reading this blog:

There are young Muslim citizens of this country who are now approaching their teen years, who were infants or not even born yet when 9/11 happened.

Do we make them feel like strangers in their own country? Or welcome and embrace them - or punish them IF they engage in criminal activity, like we do everybody else.

I’m in no way dismissing the sheer awfulness of 9/11, nor the courage of those who responded.

But really, it’s time to move on …
