There’s a reason the film industry is on the West Coast. It’s the farthest point in the US away from where Edison lived.

Thomas Edison and his BFF Henry Ford screwed over Westinghouse, they screwed over Tesla, they screwed over the motion picture industry (or would have if everyone did not run over to the West Coast) but they also screwed over THE ENTIRE FREAKING PLANET by creating the energy industry and the internal combustion engine which are responsible for most carbon emissions.

In other words, supervillains who won.
