Part of the problem with Obama coming out of the gate so fast, is he’s already struggling before the first turn. With high expectations comes bitter disappointment. He’s performing almost precisely as anticipated.

However, and very much like Bill Clinton, I have a feeling he so desperately needs approval, he’s going to be one to constantly modify his policies to ingratiate himself with the populace. He’ll sink quick on this one (the ill-fated stimulus), then shift into high gear to redeem himself. I don’t think he has the backbone to wake up every day with people calling for his head on a platter.

And they will.
