Not really. The people Obama appointed to the NLRB did indeed change a long-standing union election rule and change it to the airlines’ disadvantage. Given that, plus Democratic support for card-check, one must arrive at the conclusion that Democrats wanted to move things on behalf of the unions. The GOP is acting to thwart a move that they see as giving the unions an unfair advantage.
