Comcast killed Eureka off after the NBC takeover, because it cost more to produce per episode than they were willing to spend, even though the show was the flagship show for SyFy and was still drawing a really good audience.

At least it got a fairly good send-off. Lost track of the number of series where the execs didn’t give notice that the series was getting shit-canned until they sent out the pink slips.
