Mild Ales, ordinary bitters, and other low octane English (and Belgian beers) are tough to come by in terms of bottled beers. There is a fantastic English pub in Denver called Hogshead Brewing that makes some of those styles and they are great. There was a combination brewery/smokehouse in San Francisco that I visited that also made some really delicious small beers.
Remembering the taste and texture of those fresh pulled pub pints, I expect it would be hard to capture in a bottle, but one can dream no?
