I have seen that reaction from people, and that is why I can be so hateful. It doesn’t help that I still harbor anger about Norway.

I can relate, being both an atheist and a liberal when I was in the military. However, I am not hateful about it. I just try to live my life in such a way that shows those who are misinformed about both atheists and liberals that they are wrong.

Amongst other things, that did help me in my minor political career here in about the reddest House district in the nation. My village and my county cannot square what they are told about liberals and atheists, and who they live with as a neighbour.
