Sometimes, I feel like the generational divide is as important as the partisan divide. I don’t begrudge Senator Feinstein’s support for Joe Biden, though I believe it misguided, especially if it’s based on “experience” and not “policy”. But then there’s shit like this:

When asked whether she would support Harris, Feinstein said: “I’m a big fan of Sen. Harris, and I work with her. But she’s brand-new here, so it takes a little bit of time to get to know somebody.”

Harris was elected to the Senate in 2016. Her office declined to comment Thursday.

I’m sure the fact that she had worked with Biden for decades plays a role in her current semi-endorsement. But I can’t help but feel that this is two steps away from McCaskill’s line about AOC being a shiny object.
