I actually kind of met him once

He was a ‘silent” owner of a bar in South Boston that wanted me to install a satellite dish/ TV system. All the talking I did was with the “manager” of the place. Whitey was sitting in a corner booth watching us. Every 5 or so minutes during my presentation the “manager” would go over to Whitey, say a few things, Whitey would nod yes or no, then the manager came back to talk with me some more. Last time he went to talk him Whitey reached into his pocket and peeled off some bills from a stack that could choke a horse. Manager came back to me with the downpayment for the work I was to do
