no thanks!

I’ll stick with Boylan’s and Kemper. Used to be able to get Mexican Coke pretty easily, loved the old-fashioned glass bottle too, but the little store that carried it hasn’t had it for awhile.

Here in OH, Kroger carries south of the border-made Coca-Cola, over in the ethnic foods section along with other assorted Mexican soft drinks. I bought some recently, and to me it tasted like Pepsi- which I can’t stand the taste of. Real Coke (domestic) for me.

Speaking of Kroger, their Citrus Drop tastes so much like Mt. Dew that I can’t tell the difference, and I’ve drunk Dew since I’ve been around. They have their own versions of Sierra Mist, Orange Crush, etc., as well, all of which tastes as good or better than Pepsico’s version. Kroger has their own bottling company and make their own sodas. The other day, when a 2 liter of Mt. Dew was 3/$5, a 2 liter of Citrus Drop, or any other Kroger brand soda, was 68 cents- that’s the regular price.

Their store brand of Cheesy Poofs is cheaper than Cheetos, too.

Another set of good reasons to go for store brands over name brands, IMHO.

PS- for all the Gatorade brand drinkers, try Powerade. It’s made by Coke.

cheers
