When I was 16 I got pulled over for driving a corvette. The owner was sitting next to me. I was pulled over because “girls don’t drive cars like this” and they wanted to make sure it wasn’t stolen.

I *railed* on that cop and called him every name in the book, while cop and owner chuckled at me pitching a fit.

I told them both it get fucked.

Nowadays, I’d probably have been arrested because sexism, like racism or homophobia is okie dokie to the cops, and they are never, ever to be questioned.
