What’s frustrating is that the panel doesn’t know enough to ask the right questions.

They need to ask about the negative tests, whether they ran the negative tests and then, whey did they IGNORE the results?

Hayward’s response seems to be a standard “I was not involved in that decision”…of course you weren’t, asshole. You’re the CEO. You go to luncheons, dinners, golf trips, and sit on a monthly board meeting to have people tell you how much money you’re making. What you should do is bring the person who is responsible for making those decisions with you so he can answer the questions.

Having Hayward testify is a waste of time. Get the platform managers on the stand. They know what was and wasn’t done, and they can answer the questions without having to look at their notes. When they say “We were told not to do that” then the person above them can testify as to why he gave such an order, etc. until it gets back to Hayward…but he should be the last person they talk to, and not the first.
