How is the East Coast area affected by Sandy going to vote?

I asked that today. My friends are looking into what they have to do in order to absentee vote. For NJ, it looks like they can do an absentee up to Monday by submitting a form with the county clerk in person. Things are past the deadline for applying for a mail-in absentee ballot.

What the polling places without power are going to do is a good question.
