Humility really isn’t Rand’s strong suit is it. And I’ll give Rand some credit. He’s not a total dick like some Republicans are about restoring rights but as this tweet gets at, no one has done more for civil rights in Congress than John Lewis and he in fact nearly died doing so. Paul’s statements show how little respect he has for history and for his fellow Congressman. Plus Paul is also a two-faced asshole.

Those things don’t matter to wingers (and to dudebros). In the comments on a story at Mediaite about Lewis, in which he called for non-violent protests, they were calling him a race baiter, a racist, a lefty race peddler, the equivalent of Al Sharpton’s unpaid intern, a joke, etc. etc. JOHN LEWIS.

These people have no shame (and no brains.)
