I love it, even though I shouldn’t. I am a Tennessee fan (crying inside). So you were always the enemy. When I was growing up our dog was allowed to chew on a stuffed alligator whenever Florida played. This was awkward, as my mother was a transplant to Rhode Island and this was not understood. Nor were was her manicure and pedicure in neon orange with the pinkie nails containing endzones.

But then Spurrier left FL, and TN was not very good, and now I just root for whichever SEC team is doing the best. Which is a benefit up here, like when the gators won the National Championship and everyone bet against me. The win felt dirty, but it was a win.

This year I guess its Auburn.

My Dad is in South Carolina. I wore my Gamecocks shirt on Thursday and called him to tell him it was the last time before the game, in honor of Spurrier. That paid off well…
