Beating a head into concrete from the superior position is beyond self defense. You can kill a person like that without meaning to. It’s no different than stepping on a neck really hard from the intent perspective of the guy taking the hits.

I’m sorry, I really don’t know what you mean. I’ve been knocked down and had my head whacked and I didn’t feel that it would be legitimate of me to simply kill the other person.

You really feel this way? Even if you started the fight, if the other guy gets on you and knocks your head into the ground you feel you’ve the legitimate right to kill him?
