This latest spin-up was because David Reich wrote a short article in the NYT, that some anthro types then got upset and wanted their letter published in the NYT, the latter refused, and now the kefluffle is on.

Genomics and everything to do with DNA is tough for our society to process. So many skeletons in the closet.

It’s undeniable that groups of people differ, in small ways, in their DNA.

What we do with that information is what is important.

And there are differences in DNA in the same groups. So, what does any of it prove if you are only going to try to contain it to obvious differences like physical features?

“Oh look, there are differences between Whites and Blacks…see I told you we are all different.”

“Yeah but, there are differences within Whites too…so they are all different too.”

Much head scratching ensues…later that day: “Oh look, there are differences between Whites and Blacks…see I told you we are all different.”
